He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Matalavage, Sr. and Frances C. Piaskowski; his wife SandraSchiefley; and his grandson Joshua. He is survived by: his children, John E. Matalavage III and Kathryn Sanner (Scott); his grandchildren, Jordan and Ryan Sanner; his siblings, Daniel of Pottstown, Francis of Pottstown, Gerald of Norristown, Mary Alice Bodick of Kimberton, Arlene Mentzer of Texas, Donna Marie Montesano of Boyertown and Cynthia Marnell of Pottstownand Robert; and his brother-in-law Raymond Schiefley (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
