We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2020, at the age of 91, Herbert Hoover (Rockwood, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Hoover and Anna Hoover (Baker); his brothers, Robert, George, Charles and Galen; and his sons-in-law, Thomas H. Roach and Dr. Igor I. Islamoff.
He is survived by: his wife Avis Bernadine Sanner; his children, Debra Harris (Loren) of Johnstown, Kim Garretson of Johnstown and Kevin Hoover (Tammy) of New Centerville; his grandchildren, Nicole Caputa (Brandon), Kaleigh Thomas (Gene), Levi Garretson and Taylor Hoover (Adam Lytle); his great grandchildren, Asher, Archer, Aiden Caputa, Oliver and Violet Thomas; and his sister Blanche Ohler of Bensalem.
