It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Faye Younkin of Rockwood, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence William and Alverda Viola Burkett (Shumaker); her sons, Gregory and Mark Younkin; and her former husband Robert Younkin.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Harrity (Bob) of Friedens; and her grandchildren, Nicole Hardesty, Courtney Heinle, Amanda Burnsworth, Mark Younkin Jr., Renee Emerick, Brandon Younkin, Shannon Scheffel, Dustin and Tyler Younkin. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
