He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Walker (Miller); and his siblings, Clarence, Dorothy Dougherty, Robert, Herbert, Elby, Fred, Mabel Revello, Calvin and Ruth Williams.
He is survived by: his father Perry Shaffer; his wife Karen Swarner; his daughters, Amanda Jo Shaffer (Adam) and Rebekah Anne Marietta (Charles); his grandchildren, Levi Marietta, Luke Shaffer, Autumn and Payton Marietta; his stepgrandchildren, Tori and Will Shaffer; and his siblings, Janet Anderson and Richard Walker.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
