With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn Rae Burnside of Rockton, Pennsylvania, born in Kane, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dawn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dawn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ward and Lael Gretchen "Wolfe" Ward; and her sister Jeni Slack. She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Burnside (Elizabeth) of Reynoldsville and Kyle Burnside of Rockton; and her grandchildren, Ellie and Charlee Burnside.
