He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Summers and Mary Louise Summers (McNutt) of Rochester Twp; his brother Kenny Summers; his niece Brenda Summers; his nephew David Lentz; and his son-in-law Robert Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Summers (Graff); his children, Thomas Summers (Nancy) of Lorton, VA, Charles Summers (Karin), Kristin Scott, David Summers (Rochester Twp) and Daniel Summers (Rochester Twp); his grandchildren, Bennett, Austin, Megan, Sienna, Lindsey, Brandon, Mandy, David John "DJ", Dawson, Lauren and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Remington and Amelia; his siblings, Harold Summers, Faye Lentz and Linda; his nephews, Bill "Willy" Lentz, Keith Summers, Dwayne Hagerty and Mike Trunick; and his friends, Tino Yaccich and Michael Kurtz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Due to COVID-19, all services were private for immediate family only.
