Though Shirley Chilton may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Chilton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond and Olive Viola Dillon (Shaffer); her former husband Lester A. Chilton; and her husband H. Leverne Rosenberger. She is survived by: her children, Karen Chilton-Fenn (Linda), Kim Tatko (Wayne), Ken Chilton (Bingzhu) and Keith Chilton (Brenda); and her sister Joanne Spence. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, one great grandson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home (273 PA-68, Rochester, PA 15074).
