He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel G. Sr. White and Emma N. White (Martin); and his sister Lillian Hupp. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. White (Crouse); his children, Jeffrey White (Allison) and Meredith Winkle (Greg); his grandchildren, Charlotte White, Corinne White, Emma Winkle and Gavin Winkle; and his siblings, Daniel White Jr., Larry White (Marilyn) and Bonnie Fyke (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
