It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta G. Black (Rochester, Pennsylvania), born in Vanport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Altenbaugh and Sarah Mather Altenbaugh; her husband Loyal K. Black, Jr.; her granddaughter Sherree Richards; her sister Dorothy Altenbaugh; and her close friend Thomas George, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah L. (John Newton) and Denise (Larry Parks); her grandchildren, Chad Parks (Katie) and Caitlin Newton; her grandson-in-law Robert Richards; her great grandchildren, Logan, Madelyn Richards, Evie and Henry Parks; her sister Hazel; and her brother-in-law Ted Withers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
