He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald'Lucky' McFerren and Grace Marie McFerren (Rawson); his sisters, Anna Louise Delehanty (Edward) and Beverly Jean Crabtree (Edwin); his wife Clara Mae Lantz; his daughter Debra Ann Paar (Dennis); his former wife Evelyn Meteney (Frishkorn); and his stepson Charles G. Frishkorn.

He is survived by: his sons, Gary Lee McFerren (Kathleen Jill) of Raccoon Township and Robert Allen McFerren (Jane Randolph) of The Villages, Florida; his stepson Phillip J. Frischkorn (Denise) of East Liverpool, OH; his stepgranddaughters, Laura Clark (Zach) and Amanda Machi (Jacob); and his son-in-law Dennis Paar.
