It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Shafer of Rochester, Pennsylvania, born in Conway, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George and Guild; her husband Lewis R. Shafer, Jr.; her children, Cheryl, Karen, Lewis Shafer and Susan Bostanic; her siblings, George, Frank Micheletti and Elizabeth Fernandez; her daughter Pamela; her son-in-law James Barnes; her sons, Jeffrey (Beth Shafer), David (Cindy Shafer) and Douglas (Karen Shafer); her son-in-law George Bostanic; and her brother-in-law Francis Fernandez. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren.
