It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn C. Winkle of Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder R. Landis and Edna Landis Sr.; her husband Calvin; her son Michael Winkle; her son-in-law Jeffrey Bable; and her grandson Eric Bable.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Bable; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Bable (Meghan Schieman), Taylor Adams (Tyler) and Chase Winkle (Zoey Blanchard); her great grandchild Thomas Jeffrey Adams; her brothers, Elder R. "Junior" Landis (Donna), Samuel Landis (Judy Frank) and David Jay Landis (Lori); her brother-in-law Harold "Kuch" Winkle (Linda); and her daughter-in-law Tammy Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester (502 Adams St, Rochester, PA 15074). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church (200 2nd Ave, Freedom, PA 15042).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church.
