She is survived by: her son Donald A. Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tiffany Ash; her grandchildren, Amber J. Ash and Deven C. Ash (Katy Hoenig); her great grandchildren, Milah and Zoey Russell; her sisters, Beverly (Robert Messick) of New Brighton and Sue Ellen Covalt of New Brighton; her friends, Donna, Mae and Judy; and her caregivers, Kyona, Frannie, Icis, Sweetie, Mark and Kathy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
