He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Hanne and Eilo Mae Carlisle Hanne; his wife Viola R. Leopardi Hanne; and his siblings, Patricia Williams and Robert C. Hanne.
He is survived by: his son Michael K. Sr.; his daughter-in-law Kathy J. Hanne; his daughters, Kathy (Thomas R. "Fitz" Fitzpatrick), Jeanne M. Kabana, Christine S. (Robert B. Brooks) and Ohioville; his grandchildren, Sara (David England), Laurie (Kenneth McGinnis), Michael K. Hanne Jr. (Chrissy Angliker), Kristin M. Hanne, Christopher G. Kabana (Rachel Weeks), Alyssa L. Kabana (Gabriel Strano), Erin Fitzpatrick (Jeff Dyke), Katelyn Fitzpatrick (Tim Brady), Jennifer C. Brooks (Robi DeBarbieri) and Allison E. Brooks (Cory Bauer); and his great grandchildren, Lily, Isabelle England, Owen, Logan, Faye, Molly McGinnis, William, James Dyke, Ryelyn, Mckenna Brady, Lucas, Issac, Ellia Strano and Felicity Kabana–Weeks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
