He is survived by: his wife JoAnne D. Mengel (Buckley); his daughter Heather C.; his son-in-law Allen Coffield; his son David L. Jr.; his daughter-in-law Melissa Mengel; his grandsons, Cody, Maddox, Chase and Jay; his brother Scott; his sister-in-law Candi Mengel; and his father-in-law Robert L. Buckley Sr..
