She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald O. Reed and Sarah Esther Reed (Lucas); her husband Elmer Kavals; and her children, Donald Kavals and Sheryl Kavals.

She is survived by: her sons, Delmer and Stephen Kavals; her daughter-in-law Patty Kavals; and her brother George Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
