He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Beckert and Viola Beckert (Gossard); his wife Genevieve Beckert (Verrico); his sons, Gary and Arthur Beckert; his grandson John A. Glomoslia; and his siblings, John, Charles Beckert and Catherine Valentine.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Gaunt (Jonathan), Anna Finnegan and Louis Beckert (Tanes); and his sisters, Louise Hawrylak (Don) and Wanda Caltoury (Bob). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandsons.
