We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 89, Robert D. Himes of Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eincle Himes and Arminta Himes; and his siblings, Ida Beatty, Ruth Troupe, Earl, Roy, Merle, Melvin and Ellis Himes.
He is survived by: his wife Grace (Nichol); his children, Patti (Dave Grant) of Indiana, Douglas (Bonnie) of Rochester Mills, Gregory of Rochester Mills, Mark (late Cathy), Rochester Mills and Christie McGee (late Todd) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Nathan Miller (Kristin) of Punxsutawney, Jessica Warshel (Scott) of Johnstown, Derek Miller (Kira) of Punxsutawney, Joel Himes (Micha) of Treasure Lake, Travis Himes (Erin) of Rochester Mills, Ashlynn Starr (Andy) of Dayton, Mark Himes of Rochester Mills, Grace, Mackenzie and Andrew McGee of Indiana; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Vincent Miller, Thomas, Aubrey Starr, Jaxyn, Rylan Warshel, Parker, Ethan Himes and Ruby Himes; and his brother Andrew Himes of State College.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that anyone wishing to honor Bob's memory, may do so by sending a memorial to the First Church of God, 23 Skyview Drive, Punxsutawney, PA. 15767.
