With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernie Nixon of Robinson, Pennsylvania, born in Climax, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barbus and Mary Barbus (Litesky); her husband Richard Nixon; and her siblings, Helen Mulligan, Agnes Hall, Susie Flickinger, Frank, John, Joseph, Mitch, Andy, Leonard and Pete Barbus.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Nixon (Jan) and Lori Nixon Robinson; her grandchildren, DeWayne "Bud" Donahue (Karol), Peggy Sue Donahue, Andrew Nixon (Mandy), Joe Nixon (Kim) and Todd Nixon (Stacy); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, Brandon, Joseph, Kyle, Drew, Tyler and Lauren; her great great grandchildren, Liam, Kinsley, Weston and Colton; and her sisters, Annie Lear and Theresa Robertson.
