He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Appel and Elrose Appel (Bucher); and his siblings, Robert Appel and Laverne Appel Gratz. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughter Sandra Henderson (William); and his grandchildren, Griffin, Colin and Myles Henderson.
