He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane and Willard Adkins; and his siblings, Willard Adkins and Francis Garbeth. He is survived by: his wife Penny Adkins; his stepchildren, Ray Hubbard (Camie) and Dawn Beair; his siblings, John W. Adkins (Nida), Ray F. Adkins (Linda), Donna Adkins (Lisa) and Charles F. Adkins (Elaine); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Adkins and Olin Garbeth; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, Conner Hubbard, Hailey Beair and George White. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
