He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; his parents, Charles Hodgkiss and Frances Hodgkiss (Sappo); his son Robert Jr.; and his brother Charles Hodgkiss.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Hodgkiss, Kim Gasparovich (David), Robyn Davic (Tom), Erin (Anita Ferney) and Scott; and his siblings, Beatrice Bostian, Catherine Yaksetic, Margaret Jean Christy, Michael "Joe" and Amos Spanard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
