He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Oshop and Gertrude Oshop (Petcovic). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Oshop; his siblings, David (Cheryl), Dennis (Tana), Andy (Linda) and Dolly (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Schaum (JoAnne), John Check (Jill) and David Dryer (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in Dan's memory.
