He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sara (Herold); his children, Hazel and Carter; his parents, Dan Meier and Jan Meier; his sibling Dana Meier; his parents-in-law, Peggy and Charlie Herold; his brothers-in-law, John (Katy) and Dan Herold (Sarah); and his nieces and nephews, Eli and Zeke.
