She was loved and cherished by many people including: her uncle Lloyd; her spouse Donald Rubin of New York, N. Y.; and her daughters, Mihaly J. Lukacs, Amanda Rubin, Laurel Rubin, Angelique Lukacs of Bernville and Klara Lukacs of Bremerton. She was also cherished by Her 6 grandchildren called her "Dr. Granny" and her many friends and admirers called her "Dr. J - L." Friends.
