He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Gerhart and Verna Gerhart (Brigel); his daughter Andrea Putt; and his sister Mary Ann Morrella. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne (Harding); his daughters, Diana (Barry Jacobs) and Sharon Gerhart; his grandchildren, Michelle Jacobs and Joshua Putt; and his sisters, Patsy Bright and Sandra Prutzman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of David.
