It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gonsman of Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Leo and Rachael Gonsman (Lewis); and his siblings, Violet Martz, Jane Howsare and Dave Gonsman.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Dively (Feathers); his daughter Patricia Wasserman (Dave); his stepdaughters, Ellen Bender (Rick) of Alum Bank and Lora Banks (Gene) of Natrona Heights; his siblings, George Gonsman of Dunnellon, FL, Grace Siegfried of Stuarts Draft, VA, Fred Gonsman (Judy) of Everett, Sarah Romero (Sil) of San Antonio, FL, Joe Gonsman (Val) of Lenoir, NC and Charlie Gonsman (Evelyn); and his sister-in-law Gloria Gonsman of Claysburg.
