He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Beach and Mabel Beach (Haffley); and his siblings, Lois, Harold and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Vivian Ruth Beach (Ritchey); his children, Gregory Beach (Vonna) of Harrisburg and Shanda Imler (Rick) of Roaring Spring; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Tesha, Leeann, Timothy and Leah. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions, funeral services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Gerald's name can be made to the Cove Lions Club.

“I am so sorry about the passing of Gerald. He was a great guy. I always enjoyed talking to him at the post office in Woodbury. We would often share thoughts about the Pittsburgh Pirates. Being fellow Democrats, we also talked politics sometimes. He always had a positive attitude and was so friendly. He will certainly be missed by many. Wishing you peace, Eric Clapper”
