With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George David Barnes Sr. (Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Barnes; and his siblings, Diane Flairty and Dennis Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne B. Brantner; his sons, George David Barnes Jr. (Denise) of Roaring Spring, Daniel P. Barnes (Sheryl) of Theodore, AL, Michael W. Barnes (Amy) of Martinsburg and Eric L. Barnes (Stephanie) of Plymouth, IN; and his siblings, Raymond, Ronald, Keith, Greg, Steve Barnes and Sandra Kennedy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Assembly of God Church (4870 Cove Mountain Rd, Roaring Spring, PA 16673). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
