She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leroy Detwiler and Martha Naomi Detwiler-Smouse (Ketner); her stepfather Merle B. Smouse; and her sisters, Lenora J. Boor and Sandra K. Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald R. "Sonny" Hoover; her children, Geri R. Bridenbaugh (Dave) of Henrietta and Garrett W. Hoover (Anna Luisa) of Finksburg, MD; her grandchildren, Heather Kindel (Curt), Christian Bridenbaugh (Kim), Cody Bridenbaugh (Sara), Gabriel Hoover and Christopher Hoover; her great grandchildren, Jessa, Maura, Carson and Carter; and her stepsiblings, Duane Smouse and Mindy Smouse.
