It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl A. McFarland Sr. of Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, born in Skowhegan, Maine, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McFarland and Madeline Hurd (Cyr); his daughter Penny A. Delozier; his brother Gary J. MacFarland; and his stepfather Earl Hurd.
He is survived by: his wife Lois L. Miller; his children, Ernie B. Miller, Carl A. McFarland, Jr. (Patty), Allen E. McFarland, George M. McFarland (Christina), Madeline McFarland, Mildred McFarland, Dollie Mussleman (Blair) and Mollie McFarland; his brother David A. McFarland (Mary) of Cushing, Maine; his sister-in-law Cathy MacFarland of Windem, Maine; and his cousin John Tripp of Maryland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
