Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Benny leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvie Swope and Myrtle Swope (Dohrn); his wife Betty L. Swope (Helsel); his sons, Stanley R. Swope of Arizona, Rodney L. Swope (Christine) of Roaring Spring and Mark S. Swope (Tania) of New Enterprise; and his brother Dennis Swope. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; as well as one brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
