He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Burgess and Pearl Burgess (Skelly); and his siblings, Guy, Lawrence Burgess and Gloria Mires.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Burgess of Roaring Branch and Deanna Burgess of Williamsport; his sister Laura Pallone (Gene) of Pine City, NY; and his grandchildren, Joseph Caroccia (Melissa) of Tioga, Sheila Burgess of Danville and Travis Burgess of Roaring Branch. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
