He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spencer and Geraldine Spencer; his brothers, William and Thomas; his sister-in-law Bonita Spencer; his niece Kathleen Spencer; and his nephew William Lamont "Monty" Spencer.

He is survived by: his wife June Brenchley of Canton; his son Andy Spencer (Sherry) of Canton; and his grandchildren, Nicole Ragab (Ramy) of Reading, Natalie Siedhof (Jennifer) of Syracuse, NY, Joslyn Spencer (Jeremiah) of Forty Fort and Jenna Spencer (Riley) of Mansfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Area Agency on Aging.
