He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mathews and Margaret Mathews (Nagle). He is survived by: his significant other Florence Ann Schiefer; his son Thomas B. Mathews, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Freda Morehart Mathews; his daughter Michelle Mathews Lis; his son-in-law Richard Lis; his grandchildren, Jasmine Mathews, William, Aaron Morehart, Paul Lis (Tracey) and Carleen Lis Wiedman (Jason); his great grandchildren, Emere Woods, Joshua and Matthew Lis; and his niece Sylvia Hovanec.
In lieu flowers, cards, etc., Thomas's last wish was that perhaps family and friends would consider a small donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
