He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida M. Shadle (Schweinhart) and Herman I. Shadle; and his siblings, Marie, Irvin, Thomas, Phaon and Delores.
He is survived by: his wife Marion E. Morgan of Pitman; his children, Judy Rentschler of Berwick, Susan (Wesley Swartz) of Taylorsville, NC and Roy Shadle II (Cindy) of Ringtown; his brother Forrest Shadle of Lavelle; his grandchildren, Jeff Swartz (Katrina), Stacey Rentschler (Stuart Friess), Patti Swartz, David Rentschler (Kathleen), Kevin Rentschler (Suzanne), Audra Kufro (Nathan), Kimberly Roulin (Matthew) and Brian Rentschler; and his great grandchildren, Cassandra Friess, Kyle Rentschler, Noah Friess, Daniel Roulin, Caleb Rentschler, Sidney Swartz, Robert Roulin, Carter Rentschler and Cash Rentschler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church of Ringtown.
