He was predeceased by: his parents, Dola Shoup (Heffner) and Ellis Shoup; his wife Elizabeth M. Shoup (Mooney); and his sister Marie (John Lapotsky) of Phoenixville. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Stauffer of Ringtown, Susan (Joseph Fishburn) of Ashland, Nancy Hoover of Gordon, Melissa (Thomas Zarcufsky) of Ringtown and Ronald "Butch" Shoup (Francine) of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Samantha, Maxine, Jimmy, Jennie, Tommy, Garrison, Colby, Elija, Felicia and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Avarey and Dominick.
