It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Rakus of Ringtown, Pennsylvania, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent A. Rakus, Sr. and Ann Rakus (McHugh); his brother Vincent A. Rakus, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Quinn and Nolan Malloy.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Rakus; his children, Jeffrey Rakus (Misty) of Ringtown, Shawn Rakus (Kelly) of Frackville and Kristyn Malloy (David) of Ringtown; his grandchildren, Evan, Teagan, Ryan, Peyton, Paige and Luci; his pet Snowy; and his brothers, William Rakus (Therese) of Shenandoah and Kevin Rakus (Darlene) of Pottsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
