He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Heim (Ryan) and John Thompson; and his siblings, Joanie and George. He is survived by: his wife Karen Basham; his children, Lisa Heim (Frank) of Ringtown and Robert 'Bubba' Heim of Ringtown; his grandchildren, Chase, Jaiden, Julian, Giovanni, Michael, Serenity and Brianna; his siblings-in-law, Stacy (Jeff Kerschner) of Virginia and Eric Basham (Robin) of Maryland; his nieces and nephews, Austin, Madison, Carissa, Peter Jr. and Anthony; his goddaughter Paige; and his parents-in-law, Rolland and Bernadette Basham of Florida. He is also survived by married in 2009, and by his two children.
