It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel L. Hook Sr. of Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shaner Hook and Mentie McCall Hook; his wife Laura "Dude" King; his children, Paul "Dub", Andy and Donna Lee; his son-in-law Kerry Smith; his granddaughter Kelly Hopper; and his siblings, James, Ivan, Georgie, Laverne, Doris and Archie.
He is survived by: his children, Susan "Maya" Smith of Rimersburg, Sam Hook, Jr. (Darla Shick) of Rimersburg and Terry Hook (Elaine) of Mayport; his daughters-in-law, Betsy Hook of Brookville and Penny Gourley of Reidsburg; and his siblings, Hanna of Oklahoma and Merle (Linda) of Huckleberry Ridge. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
