She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Switzer and Velma Switzer (Fowler); her husband William J. Elder; her son William B. Elder; her siblings, Ralph E. Switzer, Jr., Jack Switzer, Donald Switzer, Martha Patton, Pauline Myers, Bernice Simpson and Sue Mohney; and her son-in-law Timothy M. Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jami L. Simpson of Slippery Rock; her grandchildren, Jeffery Elder (Colleen), Gregory Elder (Alexandra) and Stephanie Zeiber (Jeffrey); her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Sienna, Fiona and William; her sisters, Janet Greenawalt of Erie, Gloria Kriebel of Anderson, IN, Bonnie Pensenstadler (Wayne) of Pinehurst, NC and Jane Fraley of Orchard Park, NY; and her daughter-in-law Mary E. Elder.
