He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Townsend and Rosemarie B. Townsend (Versetti); his wife Darlene J. Townsend; and his siblings, Philip Townsend and Marlene Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Wilkinson (Becky) of Butler, Amanda Townsend of Butler, Lilly Rose Townsend (Casey) of Rimersburg and Missy Townsend of Rimersburg; his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Tyler, Koltin, Janie, Kymani, Damyah, Nolan, Hazlee and Kane; his great grandchildren, Paisleigh and Jaxson; and his siblings, Charles Townsend (Anna Mae) of Allison Park, Rosanne Gould (David) of Butler, Cheryl Gordon of Butler, Raymond Townsend (Tammy) of Parker and Bill Domek (Lisa) of Pittsburgh.
