He is survived by: his wife Velma B. Smeltzer (Montgomery); his children, John E. Smeltzer of Rimersburg and Elizabeth J. Montgomery of Rimersburg; his grandchildren, Zachary "Claire" Montgomery, Hunter Stephens, Levi Stephens, Justin Smeltzer and Cassidy Smeltzer; and his sisters, Iva "Sue" Tyson of Rimersburg, Tina Lorenz of Lincolnton, N. C., Dianne Billotte (Edward) of East Brady and Dorthy Runyan (Dan Guntrum) of Rimersburg.
