He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Lamont and Ida C. Lamont-Gould (Miller); and his siblings, Robert, William, James Lamont and Anna Young.
He is survived by: his children, Howard Edward Lamont, Sr. (Gloria Goodman-Lamont) of Hooker, James J. "Jim" Lamont of Rimersburg and Ruth A. "Tootie" Bartell (Paul E. Morris) of Rimersburg; his grandchildren, Shelly Manning (Patrick), Howard E. Lamont, Jr. (Stephanie), Kathy Sutton and Ashley Callander; and his great great grandchildren, Max and Welsh Corgi.
