He was predeceased by: his father Rich Runyan; and his grandparents, Harold, Margie Smeltzer, Rich and Joann Runyan.

He is survived by: his mother Dorthy I. Smeltzer Runyan; his daughter Kinsley Bellesfield; his stepsons, Bobby Deitz of Rimersburg, Owen Deitz of Rimersburg and Kason Deitz of Rimersburg; his brothers, John Bellesfield of Rimersburg and Josh Bellesfield (Brittany) of Leeper; his nieces, Kirsten and Kendall Bellesfield; his brother Keith Lorenz (Mary) of Charleroi; and also Dan Guntrum (Nikki Corle). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
