He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Young and Betty S. Young (Vlassich). He is survived by: his wife Dianne E. Smith of Tucson; his children, Samantha Priester of Rimersburg, Daniel Smith of Vandergrift and Sarah Mensak of Tucson; and his sisters, Deb Best of Rimersburg and Carolyn Clark of Ford City. He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, and a great nephew.
