It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Detar of Rillton, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Detar and Angeline Detar Sr. (Spinogatti); his brothers, Charles Detar (Karen) and Peter Detar; his nephew Anthony; and his niece Deanna.
He is survived by: his wife Marian E. Detar (Rothwell); his daughters, Tina Hensel (Michael) of Rillton and Christine Guerriero (Mark) of Gibsonia; his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Paige, Brittany, Zachary and Amy; and his siblings, Curt Detar (Paula) of Greensburg, Anthony Detar (Kathy) of Rillton, Phyllis Rush (Dean) of Maryland, June Harenski (Paul) of California, Roseanne Brown of Michigan, Angeline Sack (Harry) of California and Sharon Vandesteeg (Jim) of Hermitage. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
