He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Smith, Sr. and Thelma Fedde Smith (Sellinger); and his wife Roxann Smith (Verish). He is survived by: his children, Kurt David Smith II, Donald Beddiges III, Keith Rau, Jeffrey Rau, Richard Rau, Monica Smith and Maria Beddiges; his siblings, Ronald Smith, Jr., Bruce Smith and Carol Browning; and his grandchildren, Owen David Smith, Mila Smith, Sidney Kratzer, Sidney Rau, Kora Rau, Harley Rau, Joshua Beddiges, Caleb Beddiges, Hannah Beddiges and Rachel Vanderlely.
