He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Muhlberger and Florence Starosta Muhlberger; his wife Theresa A. Brennan Muhlberger; his daughter Kathleen M. Furlong; his granddaughter Jena Marie Furlong; and his sister Florence Eichler.
He is survived by: his daughter Bethann Muhlberger Scanlan (Rick); his son-in-law Thomas Furlong; his grandchildren, Lindsi Scanlan Norman (Garrett), Shawn Thomas Furlong (Amy), Ashley Nicole Chojnowski (Robert), Jonbrennan Scanlan (Shannon) and Maura Delaney Scanlan; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Brigid and Keira.
