He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy P. Simcox and Sara Deery Simcox; his wife Kay C. Brodley Simcox; his siblings, Anna Mae Griffith and James J. Simcox; and his stepmother Anna Hardcastle Simcox.

He is survived by: his sons, Thomas J. Simcox, Jr. (Elizabeth Weiss) and Edward P. Simcox (Lenore); his grandsons, Ed (Trish), Joe (Mary), David (Shaina) and Ryan Simcox; his great grandchildren, Carter, Caine and Blake; and his close friend Rich Smith.
